One of the major style influences in my life is my grandfather. In addition to being one of the most well-traveled men i've ever met, he always brings really cool and unique pieces of clothing back from his travels. One of my favorites is a pair of white woven leather loafers that he brought back from Europe in the 80's; and these oxfords from Thorocraft remind me of those.
Thorocraft shoes are all handmade in both Vietnam and Italy in limited numbers; 50 pairs per color, 300 pairs in total. Although i'm not a big fan of the
pussy short heels, and prefer more of a standard stack; all-in-all the woven vamp just sells me.
