Game Changer: Junya Wantanabe F/W '11

Every once in a while, a collection comes out that becomes the platform of inspiration for other designers. In turn, this starts the formation of new trends that begin trickling down, and eventually become accepted on a mass level. I feel that Junya's F/W '11 is that 'game-changer'; his use of fair isle in more structured outerwear and blazers is epic, and the collection stays amazingly cohesive in doing so.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of fair isle in elbow patches & trim, maybe even fair isle OCBD's? Who knows whats next...but it's going to be fun to watch.
