Talking Shop - Bobby From Boston

Boston doesn't exactly make the podium for top fashion cities, however there is a hidden gem that may single-handedly keep Boston afloat in the discussion. Bobby From Boston is hands-down the best menswear/vintage shop that I have ever been to in my life. Tucked away on a side street in Boston's South End, owner Bobby Garnet is a truly inspiring curator of classic Americana, where the only thing more amazing than the endless amount of unique pieces is the fact that he has managed to stock entire shelves full of these remarkably well-preserved items.

For the amount of selectivity that goes into the collection, the prices are quite fair. Vintage wingtips with a good amount of life left sell for around $45-$55 on average, while incredible beat-up vintage leather jackets may go for up to $225. Bobbys is a store you can truly get lost in, and I have spent up to 4 hours exploring in what is only about 1,500 square feet of space. If you are ever in Boston, set aside an afternoon to hunt for treasure, and you will undoubtedly find it at Bobbys.
